A Great Christmas morning at Gaston’s resort!
Had a nice cozy Christmas morning at Gaston’s white river resort. My wife ensured that everything was as homelike as possible with stockings and the tree. The fireplace with as much free firewood as we could burn was a definite plus.
The fishing wasn’t great this trip due to the higher than normal water level. Still got myself 3 good size rainbow trout!
Stephanie definitely did good on the decorations and enjoyed her fire.
The fully equipped kitchenette was essential with the restaurant closed for the holidays. The full size fridge made it so you only need to show up with all your groceries and don’t need to leave again.
With the river a short walk from the cabin you can go at any time! Boats are available for rent or even book a guided trip. You could even catch a trophy size brown trout if you are lucky. This one was just short at 21 inches.
